The Fascinating Life of a Digital Nomad
Remote work is on the rise and seems to be here to stay. Especially for tech companies and start-ups it is a new way to collaborate and attract talent from all over the world.
Remote work offers tons of possibilities to work from anywhere you want. Your home, your favourite café or in a coworking – maybe in Vietnam, San Sebastian or Lisbon. No matter where you are, you can just plug-in and work. Once you are done, you do spend your free time with an activity why you chose the location you are in.
Join us to learn from Julien what it’s like to be a remote developer, being able to work from anywhere you want (and to learn if there are any trade-offs).

Meet Julien Rougeron
Julien works remotely since 2016, has lived and worked in many places and travelled the world.
Currently Julien is working as a mobile developer at Slite, a remote company from the very beginning. With their work they put clarity at the center of your team. Slite helps distributed teams share ideas, collect their knowledge and stay on the same page across time and space.
When Julien scouts for a new location those key aspects must be met:
A place to get in touch with new and different cultures than home (France).
A place where I have short ways to enjoy nature and its beauty.
Descent internet and transport connections to move around.
